Back in July, I was contacted by the very lovely Helen, of Helen Carter Weddings to see if I was available to help with Amanda and Richard’s wedding that she was coordinating. Amanda and Richard had chosen the stunning venue of Barnsley House, just outside of Cirencester and a vintage tea party style to their day. Helen and her team worked absolute wonders, creating a beautiful day, and to capture the day was the lovely Eliza Claire, assisted by the equally fabulous Marie Man.
For the dessert table, we created layer sponge cakes, a fresh coffee one with an espresso buttercream, and our take of a Victoria sponge, filled with fresh Cotswold strawberries, straight from the garden, and a creamy vanilla bean buttercream. We also created mini cupcakes, in lavender, strawberry, vanilla and lemon to complement the other desserts made by the patisserie team at Barnsley House. Amanda and Richard’s main wedding cake was made for them by a friend.
How fantastic does that dessert table look? The little flags for the desserts are adorable! For more of Eliza’s photographs check out her blog post here.
You did a fabulous job with the cakes – there wasn’t even a crumb left!
Thank you again to Helen Carter for asking me to be part of Amanda and Richard’s beautiful day. Congratulations Both!
