with a little ‘HouseGift’!
I was delighted to be asked to bake and decorate some special cupcakes for interior designer, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen’s birthday last week. Since moving to the village a couple of years ago, Laurence has become part of village life, but I was still over the moon to be asked to bake cupcakes for his birthday. With a request for something that reflected his style, I went for a sort of rococo theme, with fondant curves, topped with sugar blossoms and silver dragees, in pink, black and white.

I just had to also include some handmade big red roses too! I really hope that Laurence and the family enjoyed them.
